The trailer for their Christmas movie, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, dropped on recently, and it’s got me feeling ready to put up a Christmas tree and deck the halls weeks before Thanksgiving.
In all seriousness, the holidays can bring up a lot of difficult emotions, especially if you’re far away from your family — like I am this year — or if you aren’t close with them, and it can be hard to fully embrace the season for many reasons. And I know I’ve experienced my fair share of seasonal melancholy. But the Jonas Brothers seem like they just might be the perfect trio to bring back a little Christmas sparkle for all those who need it.
Here are 12 ways the Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie trailer has me ready to embrace the magic of the season instead of my inner Grinch.
1.
I’m super here for the blend of fantasy and reality going on here. At first I thought this might be a tour documentary, but no — it’s actually a fictional story about the Jonas Brothers, a very real band, and their fake Christmas tour. Slightly surreal, funny, and instantly heartwarming? It checks all the boxes of a Christmas classic.
2.
Randall Park somehow makes complete sense as their harried tour manager, and the fact that the JoBros can’t seem to do anything logistical on their own makes me feel a bit better about my occasional inability to complete basic aspects of adult life.
3.
I love that Priyanka Chopra has a role too. Who doesn’t love a bit of real-world family fun?
4.
Here’s Joe bringing some raw holiday blues realness to the screen. Is the magic between the Jonas Brothers actually dead, as he says? I’m not sure, but anyone who’s ever felt melancholy around the holidays can probably relate to Joe in this scene. Yes, I want to comfort Joe by giving him a big hug, but it looks like the mysterious Christmassy guy next to him has got that covered.
5.
“Nothing like Christmas to help a family rediscover its magic.” So true, and suddenly I’m ready to rediscover the magic of the season with everyone I love.
6.
Honestly, the very existence of this movie is doing a lot for my holiday blues. The Jonas Brothers are such nostalgic favorites of mine — I’ve been a fan since before Camp Rock — and it’s just heartwarming to see them back and ready to bring some seasonal cheer into the world.
7.
The humor is humoring, and I love that they’re making Joe into a serial dater post-Sophie Turner divorce. Confession: Joe was my very first crush, after all, and I’ve never stopped holding out hope — and this shows me I might still have a chance. A Christmas miracle indeed?!
8.
“I know Glen Powell.” Again, loving the chaotic lines between fact and fiction here.
9.
These cute, pine-scented smiles are enough to remind me of the joy of the season.
10.
I always loved Christmas as a kid, and I also loved the Jonas Brothers as a kid, so this movie really seems like it’s going to be perfect entertainment for my inner child. This movie feels like a great reminder that we can still love everything we loved as kids, even as adults. Why avoid things that bring us joy?
11.
Well, this trailer has single-handedly changed me from someone filled with dread about the fact that it’s November 2025 already to someone who can’t wait for the holiday season. I’m pulling out the sweaters. I’m dusting off the menorahs. I’m learning Christmas carols and I’m so ready to celebrate with these three guys who have managed to keep me entertained for so much of my life.
12.
Possibly best of all, the movie comes out November 14th — perfect timing to actually get us through that sometimes tough period leading up to the holidays. More Christmas movies in November, please. More joy in general! We all deserve it — and I hope wherever you are, you find a bit of extra warmth and light this holiday season, whether it’s from A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, enjoying one of the countless other amazing holiday movies out there, counting down the days to Camp Rock 3, or doing whatever brings you the most happiness.
