The 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards took place on March 17th, 2025 in Los Angeles, California at The Dolby Theater.
Hosted by LL Cool J, the awards shared the most showstopping performances and artists accomplishments from the year.
Breakout star, Benson Boone, won big this year. Taking home ‘Song of the Year,’ for his single, ‘Beautiful Things.’ Boone made history marking it the first time a male artist has won the award since The Weekend, in 2021.
“This is a crazy job and not what I was expecting to do with my life,” says Boone. “Everyday is a new adventure.”
Another big award was given to Gracie Abrams, for ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year.’ Abrams showed praise to artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, for allowing her the opportunity to open for their infamous tours. In fact, Gracie’s first appearance supporting Rodrigo dates back to Rodrigo’s ‘Sour’ tour back in 2022.
The winner of the night was superstar Taylor Swift. Despite the fact that we’re only halfway through the century, Swift took home the ‘Tour of the Century’ award for ‘The Eras Tour.’ This record-breaking tour sold over 10 million tickets, allowing Swifties around the world to indulge in the magic of Swift’s discography.
Taylor Swift was given this award on the two year anniversary of the Eras Tour, making this accomplishment extra special. The singer could not be at the ceremony in person, but shared her speech virtually.
Performances of the night included Billie Eillish, Gracie Abrams, Kenny Chesney, Bad Bunny, GloRilla, Muni Long and Nelly.
