
3OH!3’s new single, “HIT ME HARDER,” is a return to form. The track, out today via the band’s label 3OH!3 Records, blends the wild spirit of their early hits with the same witty lyricism they’ve become known for.
“‘HIT ME HARDER’ started as a nod to that gritty, underground dance-rock scene we came up on — where the beats were dirty, the lyrics were sassy, and the energy was pure chaos,” the band explain. “What’s funny is that we felt inspired by the new era of ‘indie-sleaze,’ when, in a lot of ways, that movement felt derivative of our original music. So, are we just ripping ourselves? I think all that matters at the end of the day is if this beat hits hard.”

3OH!3 just wrapped a fall tour across America with Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, and LØLØ and are gearing up to play Warped Tour in Orlando later this month. To mark the 15th anniversary of their third album, Streets Of Gold, 3OH!3 announced two shows on Dec. 4 at House of Blues in Anaheim with special guests Breathe Carolina and Millionaires and on Dec. 10 at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn with Millionaires.
