Olivia Flowers went through one of the most difficult situations imaginable while filming Southern Charm season 9, and here’s what the reality TV star has been up to ever since. Olivia joined the cast of Southern Charm season 8 as a love interest to long-time cast member Austen Kroll, and she became an instant fan favorite. She dated Austen off and on throughout the season, but the two were never exclusive, which was a point of contention in the relationship.
Though Olivia’s “situationship” with Austen didn’t work out, Olivia had plenty of other beaus, both off and on the show. The Southern Charm season 9 star dated Rod Razavi, who was new to the show, but that didn’t work out either. She also dated men that weren’t reality television cast members. She was spotted with professional baseball player John Parke at one point, but that relationship ended soon after it began. Olivia is now in a long-term relationship with someone who never even heard of the show when they met.
Olivia Is In A Relationship
She Found Her Dance Partner
Like many couples, Olivia and her new boyfriend, Alex Williams, met at a wedding. Olivia, who had attended the wedding as her father’s date, had shown up late and tripped as she went up the stairs of the church. Alex was an usher at the wedding who offered to walk her down the aisle to her seat, to which the Southern Charm season 9 star cheekily replied, “it’s a little soon, but okay!“
Later, he asked Olivia’s father if he could dance with his date, and the two have been dancing together ever since.
In May, Olivia posted photos to Instagram of herself and her man doing various things together, including dancing up a storm.
Olivia Has Become An Influencer
She’s Got A Big Social Media Following
Though Olivia was not invited back to the show after appearing in the cast of Southern Charm season 9, she has made the best of her fame by increasing her social media following. Olivia has become a prominent influencer with 42K followers on TikTok and 282K followers on Instagram. In July, Olivia posted photos of herself selling sweet tea.
Olivia’s caption reads, “Living in the south, I grew up only loving my Grama’s sweet tea.”
Olivia’s Journey On Southern Charm
Tragedy And Heartbreak
Olivia’s journey on Southern Charm included drama and heartbreak. She spent most of season 8 in a back-and-forth with Austen that alienated her from many of her other castmates and made her the target of Southern debutante and queen bee Madison Lecroy. After her bizarre dalliance with Rod, she even admitted to hooking up with controversial former Southern Charm cast member Thomas Ravenel.

Things took a heartbreaking turn for Olivia and her family when her brother died tragically. Her brother, 32-year-old Conner Flowers, died suddenly of a fentanyl overdose. In November 2023, Olivia spoke to People about her brother’s untimely death. “I wish you could have met him because he was just the most amazing guy,” Olivia said.
“My brother, he was very lively and loved bringing people together; he literally made friends everywhere we’d go.“
She went on to explain that her brother struggled with untreated Lyme disease that drove him to addiction, and ultimately, his death.
Will Olivia Ever Return To Southern Charm?
She Wouldn’t Say No
Olivia had always wanted to be a television star, and she even made her television debut long before appearing on Southern Charm. Olivia appeared on MTV Teen Cribs with her late brother, Conner, which Reddit user u/HiLittleDarling posted in August 2022. Since Olivia always wanted to be a television star, it’s hard to imagine that she’d turn down the offer to appear on Southern Charm in the future. And considering all the drama that followed Olivia everywhere she went, it would be great to see her on Southern Charm again.

What Is Olivia Up To Since Leaving The Show?
Olivia Has Been Through Life Changes
After leaving Southern Charm following a tumultuous season for her, Olivia has been living her best life. Like it was mentioned earlier, Olivia began a relationship with Alex around the same time she ended her run on the Bravo reality series. It seems the relationship was the one to last as Alex proposed to Olivia in September 2024 after about a year of dating. According to People, the proposal took place in New York City in the Meadow Terrace Suite at JW Marriott Essex House. Before the engagement happened, Olivia was off to NYC from her and Alex’s shared home in North Carolina.
Since Olivia was out of town, Alex went to Charleston, South Carolina, where her parents live, and asked permission for Olivia’s hand in marriage. They, of course, said yes, and they all jetted off to NYC for the proposal. Olivia was surprised, but so happy to spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams. Since then, Olivia has been in her own little love bubble with Alex and planning their wedding together. Olivia even shared a video in partnership with Crate & Barrel for her wedding registry.
Besides her relationship, Bolivia has been thriving professionally. Olivia started a new YouTube web series called Off-Season, and so far her guests include Southern Charm alum Kathryn Dennis, Vanderpump Rules alums Ally Lewber and Scheana Shay. So far, Olivia has only had these three guests, but it seems this show is just the beginning for the Southern Charm alum.
Southern Charm seasons 1-8 can be streamed on Peacock.
