Claire Foy (The Crown), Jamie Bell (Shining Ladies), Andrew Scott (Fleabag), and Paul Mescal (Regular Folks) have joined the solid of a brand new movie venture titled Strangers. The film is being directed by Andrew Haigh (Weekend, Lean on Pete), and it’s loosely primarily based on an award-winning novel by Taichi Yamada.
The movie is a supernatural thriller that follows screenwriter “Adam (Scott) who, one night time in his near-empty tower block in modern London, has an opportunity encounter along with his mysterious neighbor Harry (Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his on a regular basis life. As Adam and Harry get nearer, Adam is pulled again to his childhood dwelling the place he discovers that his long-dead mother and father (Foy and Bell) are each dwelling and look the identical age because the day they died over 30 years in the past.”
That feels like an interesting premise and it’s captured my curiosity. It’ll be attention-grabbing to see how this story finally ends up taking part in out.
