On Saturday, the pair were photographed leaving a restaurant in LA after a three-hour dinner. Page Six and Fox News wrote headlines stating that this had “spark[ed] romance rumors,” which is especially surprising given that Pedro has never been in a public relationship.
At last night’s premiere of the second season of The Last of Us, Pedro was asked about the occasion by Entertainment Tonight. He replied, “Oh, Jennifer and I are very good friends and I got to have dinner on Saturday, it was a fun martini dinner.”
When asked about the attention given to their having dinner, Pedro said, “That’s her starlight. I’m just basking in it.”
This echoes what a source told People earlier — that this was “a business dinner to get to know each other better.” The source added, “Jen likes [Pedro’s] energy and would love to work with him.”
I’m sure this will be unsurprising to many!
