The Valley superfan Nicole Eggert is on a mission to discover the identity of the now-infamous “guy from Baywatch” referenced on the hit reality series.
“I’m watching the show and they keep saying ‘the guy from Baywatch’ and I’m thinking, ‘They’re going to show who it is’ — and they don’t,” Eggert, 53, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at the “It’s Up to Us” women’s health event on Saturday, May 3. “My mind starts to race because I’m very close to Jeremy Jackson, who I know is not watching Bravo. He’s not watching TV, and he lives in Orange County and his girlfriend lives in Orange County.”
Eggert’s sleuthing all began after the April 22 episode of The Valley, when Scheana Shay alleged that Jesse Lally’s girlfriend was cheating on him.
“My friend in Orange County [said] she’s been sleeping with other guys?” Jesse, 44, asked Scheana, 39, in a surprise phone call. “Is that true or false?”

Scheana replied, “That is correct verbatim. Even told me specifically who. The guy from Baywatch.”
Intrigued, Eggert — who played Summer Quinn on Baywatch from 1992 to 1994 — did some boots-on-the-ground reporting and decided to chat with Jackson, 44. After a hilarious call, she can confidently say that the actor is not the man being discussed.
“It was a big relief. I really kind of narrowed it down to David Charvet,” she told Us while wearing vintage Ted Baker. “To me, it’s the only one that it could be.”
Eggert first shared her theory on the April 28 episode of her “Perfectly Twisted” podcast. While chatting about the Bravo series with cohost Dave Palet, the actress explained why she guessed it could be Charvet, 52, who played Matt Brody in the TV series.
“This is just me assuming,” she said. “It would be David Charvet because he’s single and dates a lot and is a free, single guy.” (Us Weekly has reached out to Charvet for comment.)
While Eggert loves keeping up with her favorite reality TV shows — including the Below Deck franchise — she’s also lending her support to the Cancer Vaccine Coalition, which aims to fast-track breast cancer vaccine research.

“When science is there and we have something that’s an alternative to your typical, conventional treatment that I just had to endure, I’m obviously all for it,” Eggert — who is currently navigating her own breast cancer journey — shared with Us. “I think that awareness needs to be brought to it, and everything needs to be thrown at it to see if this is something that’s a possibility for other women and children so they don’t have to go through this.”
After first being diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2023, Eggert said she is “doing really well” and proud of everything she has accomplished.
“I’ve learned that I’m resilient. I really am resilient,” she told Us. “I’ve learned to have grace with myself because I really am capable.”
