But even better, someone said that Coco’s mom actually threw a shoe at the show, which, if you know the very least about Black moms, is about the highest commendation ever. User [L] = Lauren joked, “That shoe just sold some tickets, I’m trying to figure out if Houston House of Blues has a chair for me to sit in.” And honestly? She has got to be right. When a mom starts chucking shoes, you KNOW the performance was fire.
The album peaked and retreat, and praise poured all the way. One called it a “skipless album” (see?). Another shouted “On Sight” as her favorite song. Meanwhile, some started checking prices already because if Coco’s mom is literally out here tossing footwear, THEN this is a show to check out for sure.

The funniest was somebody lamenting how Terrell in the back was a mess (lol), but just added to the vibe. Pure highs, pure tears, pure talent—that’s a magical show.
