After a messy divorce filled with scandalous rumours, it seems Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are turning over a new page.
The singer, 35, was captured singing his ex-wife’s praises as he sat for an live podcast with Jay Shetty.
When asked about which qualities and values he wants his daughters – Willa, four and Delphine, two, whom he shares with Turner, 29 – to embody, he thought of his ex-wife first.

“I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I’m really grateful for. Having an incredible mum, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true,” the singer said at the show in Hollywood.
“As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them.
“I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confident, and know that they can do literally anything they want.”

The comments come just days after Turner publicly supported her ex-husband, showing the world for the first time that there was no bad blood between them.
The Game of Thrones actress made a straightforward yet meaningful post consisting of one word repeated twice.
She had simply shared a Spotify link to her ex-husband’s latest album, Music For People Who Believe in Love with the caption “go go @joejonas” – but it was enough to get fans talking.

Jonas an Turner first became a couple in 2016 and got engaged in October 2017 before getting married in May 2019.
Their daughters were born in July 2020 and July 2022, but Jonas filed for divorce just a year later in September 2023.
Though they claimed it was a mutual decision, Turner sued Jonas that same month, requesting that their children be returned to her home country of England, which the couple had registered as their permanent home.

She claimed Jonas had withheld their passports to prevent them from leaving the US and demanded ”the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained”, in the lawsuit, as per PEOPLE.
During the proceedings, many nasty rumours surrounded Turner, claiming she was a party girl who left her kids behind.
She spoke about the rumours in an interview with British Vogue, sharing that she had to keep telling herself, “None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.'”

In October 2023 they reached a temporary custody agreement, with Turner dropping her case against her ex-husband in January 2024. Their divorce was finalised in September that year.
In the meantime, both parents had moved on romantically.
Jonas had a brief relationship with model Stormi Bree in early 2024, while Turner began dating aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, son of Michael Pearson, 4th Viscount Cowdray, in 2023, before they split in April 2025.
