Brynn Whitfield revealed how much contact she’s had with her co-stars since filming wrapped, and she reacted to them hanging out without her. The Real Housewives of New York star also said she “dropped out” of Love Hotel before filming, and she revealed who replaced her.
Last season on RHONY, Brynn bravely opened up about getting abused in her recent past. On a cast trip to Puerto Rico, she told the cast that she had already shared this with Ubah Hassan. Some co-stars, however, questioned if she really told Ubah.
On her new podcast, Please See Below, guest Danny Murphy asked if Brynn has spoken to any castmates.
“I have not really,” she said. “Just a couple of texts with like Jessel and Erin, like nice things about life events and stuff … but the rest of them, no.”
When asked if she wants to speak to the rest, she answered, “I don’t know.”
She also addressed how the cast recently got together without her and posted it.
“There was a photo, and I actually had just wished Jessel happy birthday. [She responded,] ‘Oh my god, thanks! We should get dinner together blah blah blah.’ And then I saw that she posted a picture with everyone, and I was like … should I like it? And then I like it. And then I’m like, ‘No, f**k them. Unlike.’ Then I’m like, ‘God, but I miss them.’ [Then I] like [again]. Just back and forth.”
She said “hopefully” the dust settles between them. Brynn also revealed that she was set to be on another Bravo show.
“I was supposed to be on Love Hotel,” said Brynn of the new ‘Housewives’ dating show. “I dropped out two weeks before … I feel bad because I think they interviewed a bunch of guys that were kind of [for me].”
The star shared why she backed out.
“When I came back from Puerto Rico, I was like I don’t want to do anything,” she said. According to Brynn, filming for Love Hotel was fresh off the heels of the trip. “And I was really upset … I just [had] shared something that I’m still healing from and processing. I don’t know what the f**k is going on with this girl group or what the f**k they’re making up.”
“And I was just like … get a camera out of my face,” she continued. “I was so icked out by cameras.”
Brynn said she believes that Gizelle Bryant replaced her.
