Having his heart-wrenching performance in the movie Room behind him, it seems like everything was going right for Jacob Tremblay, the little actor. This cool new look, apparently, was his Tribeca Film Festival debut. The teenager even dropped a gorgeous pic in his Instagram feed, thanking Prada, stylist Starburleigh, and makeup artist Lanston for the chill yet effortless outfit. And, the whole internet had thoughts.

The picture was straight-up if classically beautiful. Tremblay was wearing a teal suit with maybe a white T-shirt underneath-a blend of casual and classy. The glasses just removed the kiddo image; they offered that “young intellectual” vibe at a gallery opening, and the public was just loving it. One fan said, “Love that look with glasses, perfectly suits you!” Another says, “literally ur best look.” And even Lanston, the makeup artist, threw his two cents in: “Till next time,” implying there may be a second round.
Shock of Tremblay’s growth was a choice of words in a comment section. One fairy cried, “Como meu Jack cresceu 😲 Tá lindo 😍” (“How my Jack has grown 😲 So handsome 😍”), recalling most memories of him as the little wide-eyed kid from Room. Another followed with, “I have loved all your work. You were so spectacular in Room, it’s still unbelievable!”
Hidden behind the reminiscing were oppositions to his fast coming of age: “Jack Dylan, Jacob Tremblay, Finn Wolfhard in a movie would be historic!” (Honestly? We’d buy tickets yesterday.) Others could not let go of the thought: “É você ou eu que está crescendo muito rápido?” (“Is it you or me growing up too fast?”).
Behind that style moment, however, was the larger picture. In fact, Tremblay’s post shines a bright spotlight over the collaborative team responsible for making celebrity looks-shout-outs to stylist, makeup artist, and the luxury brands that are a part of making these red carpet moments. The faint backdrop to Tribeca Fest (and let’s just say, the event remains kind of hidden in the photo) hints toward potential project promotion, but the actor kept his cards close to his chest and let the outfit do all the talking.
And the outfit spoke loud and clear-from the teal suit, bold in choice and beautifully styled, down to those unforgettable glasses: Tremblay is no longer a kid anymore. He is the style icon of the future.

With comments opening up with gushes about his fashion, crashing into nostalgia over his earlier roles, and proving that whether he’s growing up or not, Tremblay’s fanbase remains strong side-by-side through thick and thin. They’re there every step of the way. And…that Finn Wolfhard collaboration…
