A new clip from the upcoming DC Studios movie Superman has fans comparing the relationship between Superman and Lois Lane to that of the hit series Smallville.
What happens in the new Superman clip?
In the new clip debuted on The Kelly Clarkson Show, David Corenswet’s Superman and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane are conducting an interview for Lane. After Superman refers to himself in the third person, the pair go back and forth about what is and isn’t on the record in a playful manner.
Fans were quick to point out the playful banter between the couple, with some saying it gave off the same vibes of the hit The CW series Smallville.

Superman is set to premiere in theaters on July 11, 2025.
