NEON has finally announced the It Was Just An Accident release date for its upcoming crime thriller movie. This comes more than a month since it premiered at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, where it successfully won the competition’s coveted Palme d’Or award.
“Inspired by Panahi’s second Iranian incarceration, It Was Just An Accident follows what begins as a minor accident as it sets in motion a series of escalating consequences,” reads the official synopsis.
When is the It Was Just An Accident release date?
It Was Just An Accident is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 15. NEON is planning an awards push in multiple categories, such as Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature.
