Get ready, anime fans! NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan LLC has announced that it will be presenting TWO anime world premieres and industry panels at Anime Expo 2025: Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota and A Wild Last Boss Appeared!

Additionally, AX 2025 attendees will be among the very first in the world to catch the premiere episodes of these two eagerly awaited titles at NBC’s two planned industry panels.
A Wild Last Boss Appeared!
First announced at the NBCUniversal Japan panel at Anime NYC in 2024, the anime adaptation of the fantasy light novel series A Wild Last Boss Appeared!, created by Firehead and YahaKo, is officially premiering at Anime Expo. The anime adaptation is directed by Yuya Horiuchi, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, character designs by Maiko Ebisawa, anime production by WAO WORLD.
Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota
The anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota by Fuyu Azuma will premiere at Anime Expo 2025 on July 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Panel Room 404AB. The series is about a girl who never shows emotions and a boy who always tries to surprise her.
The original Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota manga was published by Kadokawa in Japan via its Dragon Age Comics brand, and they also offer an English version of the series. The TV anime adaptation is directed by Tomohiro Kamitani at STUDIO POLON, with series composition by Michiko Yokote, character designs and animation direction by Naoto Nakamura, and music by Yukari Hashimoto and Tetsuya Shitara.
