Wanna see a real lightsaber? How about a rancor? No? Howz about a full-size Stormtrooper helmet? Guess what? If you’re heading to San Diego for San Diego Comic-Con this week, you’ll have that chance.
At the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park, several items set to be auctioned off are on display to museum visitors and potential buyers between now and auction day Sunday, 27 July 2025, which will be live and online. Julien’s Auctions, in conjunction with Turner Classic Movies (TCM), is displaying a number of pieces from the original Star Wars movies made between 1977 and 2019 as part of the “Skywalker Saga.”
The purpose of the auction is to raise money for the Saga Museum (The Saga Museum – Rancho Obi-Wan) in hopes of being able to raise funds to construct a permanent site to display some of the largest collections of Star Wars artifacts in the world.
Among the items are a handful of lightsabers, pieces of the Death Star, and…you know what? Just sit back and check out the pictures below.
