Legendary singer Tom Jones has cancelled a gig just hours before getting on stage in Bremen, Germany.
The 85-year-old revealed his health isn’t up to the task, after contracting an “upper respiratory infection that needs treatment”.
In a statement to fans posted on social media, the Sexbomb singer apologised for the last-minute call and indicated when he expected to take to the stage again.

“Hello to all the fans in Bremen,” he said.
“Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I’ve contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest.
“I know this is really disappointing and will cause inconvenience to you all, and I’m very sorry about that.
“But the show will now go ahead on Monday 28th July, so I look forward to seeing you then. All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled date.
“Until then, thank you for your understanding. Love, Tom.”
Famous fans including Olly Murs and Anne-Marie were quick to offer their well wishes for a speedy recovery.

Jones, who was a coach on the first season of The Voice Australia in 2012, has been touring across Europe since June 15.
He appeared on stage in Croatia and Amsterdam since then and also performed in Copenhagen last week.
Next week the Welsh-born singer begins the UK-leg of his tour, followed by dates in Spain and Germany, which will carry him through August.
He’ll end his summer run of shows in Cardiff, Wales on August 21 – health permitting, of course.

Legends of the music world, then and now
The singer, who was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2006, celebrated 60 years in the music industry last year.
“If the voice was not there I am sure I would be going ‘Urgh, I don’t want to do so many shows’ but I love it as the voice is still working,” he told Mirror UK last year.
Jones released the single Chills and Fever in 1964 but it was his follow up single in 1965, It’s Not Unusual, that turned him into a household name.
