The couple, who began their relationship in 2023, have grown close to each other’s families while navigating their romantic dynamic. Two months earlier, Swift joined Kelce’s mother Donna and sister-in-law Kylie for a Mother’s Day outing. Moreover, recent online reports reveal that he served as a strong pillar of support for the 35-year-old singer during her struggle with her father Scott’s heart surgery.

Ed Kelce calls Taylor Swift ‘special person’
Travis Kelce’s father opened up about his views on the “Bad Blood” singer in a recent interview. In it, he also discussed the attention the songstress constantly received because of her fame.
“She is a very special person,” Ed Kelce told The Daily Mail. He added that Taylor Swift is “one of the most giving and caring people” he has met.
Last year, the Kelce family patriarch also explained how his first interaction with the pop icon went in an appearance on Audacy’s 92.3 The Fan. He revealed that he had trouble recognizing Swift when he first saw her.
“Taylor walks in with a security guy, and I look at her, and I say [to my girlfriend], ‘Oh my god, I know this kid, but I don’t know what her name is.’ Jeez, you know, like a real idiot.” Kelce recalled. “And [my girlfriend] says, ‘You don’t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.’” (via Billboard).
Ed Kelce also noted that more people started recognizing them after Travis began dating Taylor Swift. He recalled how he would be in the grocery store and people would come up to him and greet him, while also encouraging others to do the same. “That has certainly picked up and become more frequent by a long shot than the before Taylor days,” he shared.
Two years earlier, Kelce shared his first impression of the “Lover” artist in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. He called her a “very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”
