Lisa Barlow addressed her relationship with husband John Barlow after her cryptic psychic reading about “rebuilding trust,” hinting she felt like they were “growing apart.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star also reacted to the claim she digs up info on co-stars.
In the new season, Angie Katsanevas seemed to accuse Lisa of encouraging her to dig for dirt on Lisa’s friend Meredith Marks. Lisa denied the accusation, and Meredith appeared to believe her. In the latest episode, a psychic asked Lisa why she feels like she’s rebuilding trust with John. Lisa answered, “I don’t know,” as she started to cry.
In an interview for Us Weekly, Lisa addressed her relationship with John.
“It’s not about rebuilding trust,” said Lisa. “It’s about communication. And John Barlow is perfect to me. He’s my person. He’s my forever. Like, I hope I spend the rest of this entire life and eternity with him.”
“I don’t like feeling disconnected from John,” she continued. “The last year, just with [my son] Jack gone and [my other son] Henry growing up and expansion of our businesses and other things, there have been major disconnects. And I’m like, we’re not growing together. We’re growing apart.”
Tearing up, Lisa suggested that the situation is “raw.”
“[These are] real feelings,” she explained, choking up. “I love this person so much, but, like, is it working the same way it used to work?”
Around the same time, Lisa clapped back at the claim that she digs up dirt on castmates.
“I have never dug up anything on anyone!” she wrote on TikTok, via @pagesix on Instagram. “I’m sick of being accused of stuff … I don’t do. I can tell you who does dig though.”
In a past interview for Virtual Reali-Tea, Lisa spoke about the psychic reading.
“I think that the psychic hit something…” she said at the time. “I think when you’re married for a long time — oh gosh, like, I don’t want to get emotional … John Barlow is my person — but I think like for me, it just hit me like, ‘Oh my gosh, what if we’re not on the same page?’”
