Sabrina Carpenter just got Kidz Bop’d!
Fans have been going wild as a new TikTok audio has recently crept onto their For You Pages… a completely family friendly version of one of the pop star’s most sexually explicit songs Tears!
User Ben Kearny‘s hilarious reaction has drawn a TON of attention to the PG reimagining of Sabrina’s song, which originally includes lyrics about “foreplay,” getting “wet,” and more:
“I get wet at the thought of you / Being a responsible guy / treating me like you’re supposed to / Tears running down my thighs”
“A little communication / That’s my ideal foreplay”

However, the lyrics have since been swapped with:
“I just smile at the thought of you / Being a responsible guy / treating me like you’re supposed to / Tears fall from my eyes”
“A little communication / Yes, that’s my ideal of the day.”

In the comments, plenty of fans shared a similar visceral reaction:
“out of every sabrina song they picked Tears”
“not all songs have to be made into a kidz bop song my god”
“Once again confirming that just because you can doesn’t mean you should kidz bob a song”
“They need to be stopped”
“kids bop needed to end once we all grew up btw”
“How many people signed off on this”
“The ‘oh my god’ being said in the same cadence and knowing the original version is sending me into orbit”
“i get the point of kidz bop.. but why cover a song that’s overly explicit”
“Some songs just can’t be made into a kid friendly version… u can’t unassociate the real meaning”
