Fans stood shocked as they watched their favourite actress, Ariana Grande, almost get hit by a car on the streets of Paris.
In a clip circulating TikTok, the singer, 32, was being escorted by security across the street into a event for her new film Wicked: For Good, when a black van began to reverse the moment she was in its path.
Reacting quickly, both the star and her bodyguard instinctively put their hands out to stop the van.

Seeing what was happening, fans screamed out in support for their idol.
When Grande crossed the road to greet her fans, she waved at them and blew kisses to show them that she was safe and sound.

Fans also expressed their shock in the comment section of the video.
“My Ari. That scared me,” wrote one.
“Ariana look before you walk,” another scolded her.
“Can y’all imagine how bad that could’ve been,” one fan remarked.
“ARIANA!!! Don’t scare me like that,” said another.
“Omg I would have cried so much. Please be careful with her!” one fan pleaded.
It comes days after her bizarre plea after missing the Brazil premiere of the new film.
The American singer was forced to miss the premiere on November 4 for reasons beyond her control.
But Grande, who portrays the character Glinda in the film franchise opposite Cynthia Erivo, raised eyebrows with a message that has since been deleted, in which she reportedly pleaded with fans: “Please don’t wish danger on us.”

What the star-studded cast of Wicked looks like in real life
“No matter how upset or disappointed you are, please please do not wish danger on us or assume that we didn’t try,” she said.
“I hope it’s a beautiful and safe night. I love Brazil, I always have, I always will.”
She also shared a lengthy statement to her Instagram Stories, explaining what actually happened.
“Brazil, I can’t believe this is happening and I am beyond devastated to be sending this message,” she began.
“A few hours ago, my team and I had to deplane our flight, as they had to do maintenance on the plane due to a safety issue and it will not be taking off until 11am tomorrow, which means that I would not be making it in time for the Wicked: For Good São Paulo premiere.”
She said she and her team tried desperately to get a flight to make the premiere, including looking at private jet options.
“My team and Universal have tried every single thing possible to fix this, we’ve searched every other flight, overnight, early morning, connecting flights, commercial and also private options and absolutely nothing was available or possible that would get us there in time.”
She added in part of her post before apologising: “I’m so heartbroken that I’m unable to be there with you all… and again, I am so, so very sorry.”
Grande also told her co-stars, including Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, and fans, “I am with you in spirit… I love you so much.”
As a result of the bizarre request, many of the comments on the new TikTok video joked, “The driver was Brazilian”.
Wicked: For Good is the newest film in the film franchise and is out in Australian cinemas November 20.
