The All-American Rejects have released their new single, “Get This,” from their forthcoming album, Sandbox. The video, directed by Alexander John, features the band in a variety of holiday-themed situations, including nods to films like Home Alone, Elf, and Christmas Vacation.
“Little hooks will sit in your pockets like a lead weight that won’t shake out in the dryer,” vocalist Tyson Ritter says. “‘Get This’ was a song born on a drive. It was made in the sunshine on the back porch of our family home. Pure fun like the company it was written around.”

“Get This” follows “Search Party” and the album’s title track, “Sandbox.” It’s their first full-length release since the 2012 LP, Kids In The Street. The band recently wrapped a tour with the Jonas Brothers and their viral House Party tour, playing shows in fans’ backyards and a livestreamed surprise show at a Sheetz gas station in Pittsburgh.
