Production on season two of Next Gen NYC is underway, with Gia Giudice returning alongside most of the first-season cast. Now, she’s opening up about what she wishes had been different about the series.
Gia’s most recent thoughts on Next Gen NYC come after she has been crowned the winner of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, a show she competed on alongside her mother, Teresa Giudice, and other Bravo stars such as Eva Marcille and Brittany Cartwright.
Gia appeared on the November 30 episode of the Plan Bri podcast. She said of Next Gen NYC, “Season one was good. Um, not my favorite.”

When asked why it wasn’t her favorite, she responded, “I think they, maybe I didn’t give enough, I don’t know, but I wanna say that I did because also a lot was filmed that wasn’t shown.”
Regarding specifics, she shared, “They kind of played this narrative that I was commuting back and forth from Jersey, and it was so exhausting, and it was like such a pain in the a**, and like ‘oh, I have to go back and forth to the city,’ and it’s like why would you do that?”
Gia then said, “Making it seem like I’m complaining about my work. I’m like, ‘No, I’m actually so grateful to work.’” She went on, “And I’m in the city all the time because that is work, and this is what I have to do.”
The conversation continued, and Gia explained another thing about Next Gen NYC season one that bothered her. She said, “Then they just didn’t dive into my work life, which really bothered me. Like, I had this huge Vince Camuto campaign that I did. They filmed the entire thing, and you literally blink your eye, and the scene’s over. They literally just show a picture of me walking out of the restaurant.”
Season two of Next Gen NYC is expected to premiere in 2026.
