Female Teacher Sent Gross Texts To Teen Student, Invited Him For Marathon Night With Husband Gone On Hunting Trip: Cops

A Washington state high school teacher crossed lines that should never, ever be crossed, allegedly engaging in an inappropriate and criminal relationship with a 17-year-old student that culminated in a long, secretive night of marathon sex at her home.

The teacher, McKenna Kindred, was just 23 at the time and employed at Central Valley High School near Spokane. The student was still a minor. That alone tells you everything you need to know. And yet…

Investigators say the night in question happened in November 2022, when Kindred invited the teen over to the house she shared with her husband, who was away on a hunting trip. The student reportedly arrived in the early evening, per a report out new this week from DailyMail.com.

What started as watching a movie allegedly escalated into physical intimacy on the couch, and then in the bedroom, with the two remaining together doing the deed for hours. The teen told police he didn’t leave until close to 11:30 that night.

As upsetting as that is, the digital paper trail paints an even darker picture. The relationship allegedly began months earlier, in June 2022, after the student found Kindred on Instagram. From there, texts, pictures, and videos were exchanged. When rumors began circulating at school, the truth started to surface through screenshots shared among students and eventually with administrators.

One of the messages sent by the teen to Kindred read:

“Mom glad I can satisfy you.”

Uh, WHAT?!?!

Kindred reportedly liked the message, which led the teen to ask whether she had used a toy while thinking about him. Her response was chilling in its simplicity:

“I did.”

The conversation didn’t stop there. The teen followed up with:

“U should have video it and save it.”

Kindred replied:

“Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha.”

Other messages later shared with investigators further underscored how far this had gone. In one, Kindred wrote:

“I want you to be in my room.”

Another message read:

“I really like being touched by you.”

The student’s mother later told investigators she had seen explicit photos sent by Kindred to her son, as well as an NSFW video her son had sent in return, and the sex toy texts.

Jeez…

Kindred was arrested and, in March 2024, confessed to first-degree sexual misconduct. She sobbed in court, but ultimately avoided jail time. Instead, she was sentenced to two years of probation, fined $700, and ordered to register as a sex offender for a decade. She voluntarily surrendered her teaching license amid a professional probe, too.

In a final twist that leaves many shaking their heads, Kindred and her husband reportedly moved to Idaho just months after her guilty plea. Whether she’s worked since that move remains unclear.
