Brooklyn Beckham has made his feelings crystal clear when it comes to wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, sharing a heartfelt Valentine’s Day message in which he vowed to “forever protect and love” her.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 25-year-old photographer marked the romantic occasion with a black-and-white photograph of the couple locked in a kiss. Brooklyn appeared shirtless in the intimate snap, while Nicola looked effortlessly chic in a crop top, the pair radiating devotion.
Alongside the image, Brooklyn wrote: “Happy Valentine’s Day baby, I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my Valentine’s every year. I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you.”
The bold declaration comes amid continued reports of tension between Brooklyn and his famous family. In January, Brooklyn made a series of emotional claims on social media, alleging that his parents, Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, had been “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped”.
He also claimed that Nicola, whom he married in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony in April 2022, had been “disrespected”, adding that he no longer wished to reconcile with his family. Brooklyn further alleged that his parents had prioritised “Brand Beckham” and sought to control media narratives, claims that have not been publicly addressed by David or Victoria.
Speculation around the origins of the rift has continued, with DJ Fat Tony, who performed at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, sharing his account of a pivotal moment during the celebrations. Speaking on ITV’s This Morning last month, he suggested tensions escalated during a performance by Marc Anthony.
According to Tony, guests believed Marc was about to invite Nicola to the stage for her first dance with Brooklyn. Instead, the singer reportedly called Victoria forward, leading to an impromptu mother-and-son dance.
“What made it awkward was the timing,” Tony explained, claiming Nicola left the room in tears while Brooklyn was left on stage, visibly distressed.
However, Marc Anthony has since disputed that version of events. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the singer insisted that the portrayal of the incident was “hardly the truth”, pushing back against suggestions that his actions sparked family conflict.
Despite the ongoing public scrutiny, Brooklyn and Nicola have remained united, frequently sharing affectionate posts and appearing firmly focused on their life together.
His sister Harper Beckham meanwhile seemed to have family on her mind amid the ongoing Beckham brood feud.
The 14-year-old extended love to her estranged brother, Brooklyn, nearly one month on from his explosive post, with a heartwarming social media gesture.
The youngest Beckham shared a sweet Valentine’s message to her brothers – Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn – on her private account, which Romeo shared publicly and replied with an infinity symbol. Harper reminisced on their childhood with a throwback photo of her and her siblings in a pool – including Brooklyn, whom she hugged in the picture. “I love you all so much, words can’t describe it x,” she wrote, tagging all three of her brothers’ Instagram handles.
