It’s the second breakup Keith Urban is facing in a matter of months – but this time, he’s marking the end of his working relationship with long-time manager Gary Borman.
Just one month on from the finalisation of Urban and former wife Nicole Kidman’s divorce, Borman has dealt the country singer yet another blow, announcing his retirement after 50 years in the business.
Over the years, Borman Entertainment has worked closely with the likes of the Bee Gees, James Taylor, the Violent Femmes and the Rolling Stones.
The Nashville-based agency represented Urban for 25 years of his over 35-year career, but now the company – which was founded by Borman in the 70’s – will be officially closing its doors.
In a statement released to Page Six, the Blue Ain’t Your Colour hitmaker went on to reflect on the decades-long partnership that shaped his career.
”I’m so grateful to Gary (and my entire Borman Nashville family) for the most incredible and successful time together,” Urban said.
“It was extraordinary – what we were able to accomplish together – and I’ll forever be grateful for the creative and collaborative spirit we were all a part of for so long,” he went on to add.

“I wish Gary and everyone at Borman Entertainment the very best journey ahead and look forward to what the future holds for all of us.”
Also speaking to Page Six, Borman revealed that he and Urban “shared a journey not unlike brothers,” during their time working together.

”The place that I have in my heart will remain warm and my mind filled with wonderful memories. I have been and will remain a fan,” he said.
Urban is yet to announce who will be taking up the management helm following this news – which comes amid the singer’s ongoing High and Alive album tour.

In the wake of his split from Nicole Kidman, Urban has sparked dating buzz with one of his tour openers, fellow country singer Karley Scott Collins.
However Collins quickly shut down these rumours, posting a screenshot of a headline linking the pair to her story with the caption “Y’all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue,” accompanied by a crying-laughing emoji.
