Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship tension was obvious from the moment they first appeared on screen during Summer House season 10 — and it only got more awkward between them from there.
“Alright, don’t forget about me this summer,” Kyle told Amanda during the February 3, 2026, episode, which was filmed in July 2025, six months before the pair announced their split in January 2026 after four years of marriage.
Amanda didn’t skip a beat in the episode, replying, “Who?” There was a big pause as Kyle stared at Amanda in their car before a big, mischievous smile came across her face.
The pair continued to butt heads throughout the premiere — and the remainder of the season — over little things like Kyle saying “model” instead of “models” to bigger problems like Kyle taking issue with Amanda going nearly nude during a pool party moment.

Boy, Bye
“Are you going to miss me?” Kyle Cooke asked Amanda Batula as she dropped her off with Ciara Miller during the Summer House season premiere. “No,” Amanda quipped.
Kyle backpeddled, saying, “Actually this is healthy,” referring to Amanda driving with the girls and him taking all the boys out to the Hamptons.
“Why are you freaking out? You’re acting like I’m going off to college,” Amanda said. Kyle then jokingly replied, “I’m so proud of you.”
After Amanda got into the car with Ciara, Kyle rolled down his window and waved at her as she drove off. “He’s so distraught that I chose to drive out with different people,” Amanda teased.
Grammar Police
As Kyle told the crew that his “friend Ben also model.” Amanda cut him off and corrected him that it’s “models.” Kyle took pause and then repeated after Amanda, “models,” as the rest of the group went silent.
No Wedding Band Pact
During the first house dinner, Kyle Cooke revealed, “We forgot our hardware,” pointing out that he and Amanda Batula were not wearing their wedding bands.
“Kyle lost his wedding ring and I said, ‘I’m not wearing mine until he gets a new one,’” Amanda said in rebuttal.
Jesse Solomon joked, “It’s OK, you guys can cosplay as single.”

Amanda Isn’t Listening
When the topic of Kyle Cooke’s DJ career came up during night 1, Amanda Batula claimed it “started” after she shared she wanted to start her own business. “He got so mad about it that he decided he wanted to be a DJ to spite me,” she alleged.
“My wife never asks me questions and now she’s actually just not listening, it’s great,” Kyle told the group.
Amanda then started to mock her husband, saying, “Guys, I’m so jealous it takes over my whole body. … Did you say, jealous?”
Kyle replied, “No, I was just saying you weren’t listening.”
Test 1, 2, 3
As Kyle Cooke prepared for his DJ set at the group’s 4th of July party during episode 1, Amanda Batula’s frustration over his latest career move was evident.
“This is a test,” Kyle said while setting up his DJ table. Amanda didn’t skip a beat, mumbling under her breath, “… Of my patience.”
Elsewhere during the premiere, Amanda told newbies Bailey Taylor and Levi Sebree that she and Kyle had been married for “four very long years.” Amanda then explained that she did “not 100 percent” support Kyle’s DJ aspirations.
Kyle Is Fading Away Into the Background
“Every summer Amanda makes me feel like I don’t exist,” Kyle Cooke claimed during the season premiere. “She just doesn’t f*** with me.”
The Loverboy founder later confided in Carl Radke that he was “not well” amid his and Amanda Batula’s relationship issues.
“It feels like you guys are drifting,” Carl said, before asking his friend, “Are you happy?”
Kyle confessed, “Where I’m happy is showing people a good time and pressing play,” referring to his job. Carl then claimed that’s because “you’re getting attention.”
During the group’s first party, Kyle also told some of his other friends, “I’m freaked out that we’re so polar opposite,” when asked about his and Amanda’s current dynamic. “She never tries to make an effort,” he alleged.

Kyle Blows His Top Over Amanda Being Topless
At the end of episode 1, Amanda Batula stripped down to her bra and underwear and joined the majority of her housemates for a dip in the pool. As she started to get out of the water, Kyle Cooke realized that she was barely clothed — Amanda’s bra was a nude color adding to the illusion that she wasn’t wearing clothes.
“You went naked?” Kyle asked, seemingly annoyed by Amanda’s choice. Amanda fired back, “No, I have clothes on.”
Kyle called Amanda’s attire “absurd,” as she questioned whether he was “mad.”
“That would’ve been fun if you, like, told me you were getting skinny,” Kyle explained. (Earlier in the episode Amanda revealed that she met newbie Ben Waddell while skinny-dipping in Italy, when Kyle was present. However, the story seemingly caused Kyle to overreact by the pool.)
Amanda insisted that they were “all in the pool together,” Kyle included. “You were the one topless,” he yelled back.
“I’m not topless,” Amanda said. Kyle proceeded to walk off toward the house, calling the incident “just unbelievable.”
Weed Woman
Kyle Cooke claimed during season 10, episode 2, which aired on February 10, that his issues with Amanda Batula were much deeper than getting mad about her skinny-dipping in the Hamptons.
“There are so many things that Amanda and I need to talk about. She acted, like, the last two years she smokes weed every night,” Kyle told pals Jesse Solomon and West Wilson during a group outing.
When West asked if Amanda “passes out” every night, Kyle nodded, “Yeah.” West then wondered, “When do you f***?”
“Good question,” Kyle quipped, hinting that he and Amanda were not having sex. “It’s never now? Or less than you’d like?” West asked.
Kyle explained, “If she smokes weed every single night …” then “You aren’t f***ing?” West said, filling in the blank. Kyle made a face and his eyes widened, seemingly confirming West’s assumption about their lack of intimacy.
Kyle went on to claim, “My apartment smells like a frat house and it looks like a frat house because she’s chaotically living. I can’t even hire a cleaning company because there’s too much s***. It’s like a series of Hoarders.”
When Amanda came up behind Kyle mid-conversation he got uncomfortable. The pair then got into a fight, with Kyle claiming Amanda hadn’t “asked a question in years” and was “disinterested in me and in us.”

All By Herself
During episode 2, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke drove to the Hamptons together. Upon their arrival, Ciara Miller wasn’t there as she was coming late with a friend.
“Are you going to be OK?” Ben Waddell joked when Amanda revealed that Ciara was running late. “No,” she replied.
The other girls in the house chimed in, saying, “You have us,” but Amanda argued, “You guys have each other and now I’m alone.”
Kyle, who was standing there the whole time, reminded his wife, “Amanda, you have me.”
Cactus Queen
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula got into a heated exchange during episode 2 after the boys in the house revealed that Kyle was pretty drunk the weekend prior.
“It was a long day drinking and I wasn’t in a great place and I overcompensated,” Kyle explained. Amanda replied, “You’re making smart decisions Kyle, one after the other.”
After Kyle said he learned “the hard lesson” from the experience, Amanda quipped, “For the 17th time.”
West Wilson tried to defend Kyle, saying, “17? I’ve had probably 17 of those [types of nights].”
Amanda fired back, “Are you married? Yeah, OK. Shut your mouth.” Kyle then asked Amanda to “dial it down,” which caused her to walk away from her husband and go inside.
“How did that spiral so quickly with Amanda? I don’t understand what I’m doing so wrong. She’s just feisty all the time,” Kyle later told Ben Waddell. “It’s like being married to a cactus. Prickly as f***. She’s trying to make a fool out of me to everyone.”

Not Dad Material
During episode 3, which aired in February 2026, Kyle Cooke apologized to Amanda Batula after storming away from the group dinner table mid-apology.
“Moments like this I don’t just forget about it. It makes me nervous like how are you going to treat our children?” Amanda told Ciara Miller after the drama unfolded in front of everyone.
Ciara got real, telling Amanda, “I’m not saying he’s a bad guy but you do deserve better.”
Amanda didn’t disagree. “You’re right,” she said before confessing, “Sometimes I don’t know if I’d ever be good enough for someone else.”
Drinking Problems
Kyle Cooke took Amanda Batula to the “apology dune” during the cast’s episode 3 beach day to say he was sorry for exploding on her back to back weekends. While Amanda said she wanted to be on the “same page” with Kyle, she noted that the biggest issue she had was him getting his drinking “under control.”
“You shut down every time that I tell you my issue is your drinking and you put a wall up,” Amanda explained. “That’s where my anger stems from.”
Kyle claimed that Amanda “started saying ‘no’ to everything” once they got engaged in 2018, which she took offense to.
“Me not going out with you should not change your faithfulness to me and how intoxicated you get when you go out,” Amanda fired back.
Kyle, however, was upset that Amanda was pointing to his drinking as the crux of their problems. “I think we have an issue with compatibility, chemistry, intimacy, common interests. What about that s***?” he said. “Oh, it’s about my drinking? What about the days, weeks, months you don’t ask me a single question?”
He questioned, “It’s about my drinking? If that’s what you think you’re coming here to talk about, you’re driving me to the drink. Guess what? I’m done.”

Cheating Round 2?
During episode 3, Amanda Batula confessed she doesn’t know if Kyle Cooke cheated on her after his 2018 infidelity based on all the “rumors” she’s heard.
“Every time you go out I get DMs telling me that you were up to something suspicious,” Amanda told Kyle during the February 2026 episode. “I don’t even bring them all up to you anymore because it’s just constant.”
After a producer asked, “Do you think he’s cheated on you?” Amanda replied, “I don’t know. I’d like to think not. But he has in the past. There have been plenty of rumors about it. Who knows? Only Kyle.”
A Not-So Family Affair
During episode 4, Amanda Batula attended a singles’ event hosted by her Summer House costars, bringing Lindsay Hubbard as her date. Kyle Cooke later revealed that he was missing from the weekday event because he was out of town.
“I’m coming in straight from my family reunion. Six hour drive. It was a great week. Did a DJ gig on the beach, my whole family was there. Sold out show, 800 people,” Kyle told the cameras, before confessing that he felt Amanda’s absence.
He revealed, “There was a little frustration on my part that Amanda wasn’t coming but I feel like neither one of us wants to have a weekend like last weekend. So I’m coming in [with a] clean slate.”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
