TOLDJA: Marvel Comics to launch a Shalla-Bal: Silver Surfer series in June 2026 that ties into Fantastic Four: First Steps

A couple of weeks ago, Bleeding Cool reported: “Marvel Comics is to publish a Shalla Bal: Silver Surfer comic in June 2026, showing an earlier story of Shalla-Bal, the herald of Galactus, in the recent MCU movie Fantastic Four: The First Steps, as part of their First Foes quarterly one-shot comic book specials.”

And today, Marvel Comics PR has caught up, saying, “This June, Marvel Comics continues to expand on the history behind Fantastic Four: First Steps with FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST FOES – SHALLA-BAL #1 by Charles Soule and Mark Buckingham, the latest comic book one-shot set within the world of the film!”
