Kidman has sadly lost both her parents now. Janelle died in 2024, while her psychologist and academic father, Antony Kidman, died in Singapore in September 2014.
Last year, she shared a tribute to both her late parents on Instagram for what would have been her mum’s birthday.
“Missing Mumma and Papa so much on what would have been her birthday today❤️,” Kidman wrote at the time.
It’s been a trying time for Kidman, who recently split from her Kiwi rocker husband, Keith Urban, 58, after 19 years of marriage.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Kidman and Urban had finalised their divorce, per People.
The pair agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights according to court documents.
Kidman and Urban tied the knot in Sydney’s Manly in 2006 and were married for a total of 19 years. They first met in 2005 at a G’Day LA event.
