RHOBH Star Kyle Richards Actually Sued To Evict Embattled Sister Kim From LA Condo – Details

The drama in Beverly Hills just refuses to take a day off! And this latest twist is real-life messy… between sisters!

According to newly surfaced court docs first reported by TMZ over the weekend and echoed by others throughout the day on Monday, Kyle Richards reportedly took legal action last year against her own sister Kim, in a move that is equal parts shocking and heartbreaking.

See, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG allegedly filed a lawsuit back in January 2025 (which is only just now coming to light, BTW) to evict Kim from a Los Angeles-area condo in which she had been living for years. Yes, you read that right: this was a major eviction battle, famous reality TV sister versus famous reality TV sister.

Basically, sources say Kyle had asked Kim to leave the Encino property in question in late 2024. But when that didn’t happen, she escalated things to court, asking for $140 per day for every day that Kim overstayed her welcome.

Ouch!!!

And here’s where it gets even more intense: Kim reportedly never responded to the lawsuit at all when it first came around last year. Well, that silence led to a default judgment in March of last year which ordered Kim to vacate the home.

But wait, there’s more! By the time authorities attempted to serve Kim with that official judgment a few months later (in June), she had already moved out. So, while the legal drama played out on paper, Kim had seemingly already made her exit behind the scenes. FYI, she apparently lives in Florida now, per TMZ and others.

Fans of RHOBH know that Kyle and Kim have never exactly had a smooth ride, between emotional confrontations on camera and deeply personal struggles off-screen. Their sister Kathy Hilton has often played peacemaker, especially during Kim’s difficult periods, including a reported relapse in 2024 that led to a psychiatric hold.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that publicly, the family has tried to present a united front, and Kyle has spoken about supporting Kim through tough times. But clearly, behind closed doors, things have long been far more strained than anyone realized.
