Dr. Dhivya Srinivasa, who has famously sparred with Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd for quite some time, has now claimed Kelly tried to sue her.
Dhivya took to Instagram to share a new video, first showing a clip where Kelly said she couldn’t “wait to take” Dhivya’s money away, and a more recent clip where she said she had “no case” against Dhivya.
“Kelly, you don’t have a case because there is no case, but it’s not for lack of trying,” Dhivya stated. “You actually tried to file something.”
After showing Kelly saying she wanted to sue Dhivya, Dhivya went after her.
“How did that go for you?” she asked. “All I’ve done is hold you publicly accountable for the rancid excuse for sentences that come out of your mouth. That’s accountability disguised as entertainment. That’s not a crime. But you found that out on your own, huh, when you tried to file that. You don’t want people to know about that.”
Kelly had also claimed Dhivya was sued for malpractice, which she addressed in the video.
“Now you want to continue to bring up the lawsuit that never happened,” Dhivya said. “See, Kelly, anyone can sue anyone for anything. You should know that. You’ve sued more people than words in your lexicon. And accordingly, any patient can sue any doctor, but here’s the fun thing about our justice system — if, in fact, a case is so absurd and so baseless, it can be thrown out by the judge or withdrawn.”
“So, since you again wanted to bring it up, I’m going to hit you with a fun fact: despite the odds, I’ve actually never lost or even settled a malpractice lawsuit,” Dhivya continued. “Doesn’t mean it’ll never happen; it’s honestly just a part of being a plastic surgeon. We are one of the most sued specialties, but it does mean that you still don’t know how to read.”
Dhivya then showed Kelly insisting she “didn’t have time” to file paperwork against her, which Dhivya combatted with proof that Kelly did allegedly file legal paperwork against her.
“Kelly, stop lying. You did try and file paperwork. The public loves the tea, like don’t tempt me, I will just drop the receipt,” Dhivya shared, posting a copy of the alleged paperwork Kelly filed against her.
Earlier in the video, Dhivya also clapped back at Kelly’s insistence that she had “no time to be on social media” when she had a daughter.
“I am sure that you exerted incredible judgment while raising your daughter,” Dhivya responded. “I am sure that the internet has zero evidence of you embarrassing her very publicly. But no judgment from me. I’m just stating the facts because you brought it up first.”
“There’s actually a word that describes this very phenomenon where you hurl insults and accusations about somebody else that in fact you are the perfect embodiment of the exact things that you are trying to say about somebody else,” she continued. “You know the word. Hypocrisy.”
