Dylan Dreyer has shared a rare glimpse inside her spectacular million dollar Long Island home. The Today Show host showed off the sprawling playroom that’s decked with an abundance of toys and games for her three sons – Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty.
The NBC star took to her Instagram Stories on September 10 to film her eldest son playing the trombone inside the playroom. The interiors featured a blue jigsaw carpet that covered the wooden floors, large windows, a keyboard, hockey sticks, a quirky lamp shade, and large boxes for toy storage.
The clip captured Calvin playing the large gold-colored trombone while dressed in gray shorts and a simple black T-shirt. In the video, Dylan can be heard questioning her son’s musical skills.”Is that how you hold it, I don’t think so? Yeah, right. No,” she said. “Did they teach you how to hold it?”
“Yeah, this is how you hold it on your shoulder,” replied Cavin, before Dylan disagreed with him. Over the clip, she penned: “What instrument did your kid get this year???”
Inside Dylan Dreyer’s new home
The Today host and her sons relocated to a new house in the suburbs of Long Island at the end of last year. “We moved out of the city so this was their first suburban Halloween, which, you know, at 5:30pm they were already tired, but then Rusty manned the doors for two hours,” she shared during an episode of the Today Show.
Dylan shared snippets of her new haven on Instagram over the Halloween weekend. One image captured her three sons posing outside their new home, which features black-paneled shutters and is surrounded by lush greenery. Another photo showed the family enjoying dinner in their new dining room, which features dark wood flooring surrounded by moving boxes.
The scenic home is located on the waterfront. The terrace features warm wooden flooring, light wood deck chairs, and a bright blue umbrella overlooking boats passing along the water. Meanwhile, Dylan’s sprawling kitchen is decked with white marble countertops and white wood cabinets with soft gray accents. The kitchen features a large dining table and looks onto the living room. The living space has a stone wall that lies beneath the TV and shelving on either side.
The NBC host shares three sons, Calvin, Oliver and Rusty with her ex-husband, Brian Fichera. Dylan and Brian first listed their $2.5 million New York City home for sale in January.
