Considered one of my all-time favourite drum & bass songs is the Nu:Logic remix of “Wings” by Birdy. It’s not even out there on Spotify, so each every so often I’ll head to MrSuicideSheep to pay attention and cry just a little. So once I received phrase of Hybrid Minds teaming up with Birdy on their new single, “State Strains,” to say I used to be excited was an understatement.
To say it was definitely worth the wait, even moreso.
