Leslie Phillips, the actor—who along with his decades-long profession in Hollywood—offered the voice of the Sorting Hat in three of the movie’s installments, handed away on Nov. 7 on the age of 98.
In a press release, his agent, Jonathan Lloyd, confirmed to E! Information that the actor died at house and “was at peace and along with his loving spouse Zara, including that the star was “the very best instance of a real legend.”
The England native’s spectacular appearing profession skyrocketed after he starred in three movies from the Carry On franchise, together with Carry On Nurse and Carry On Trainer (each in 1959) and Carry On Constable in 1960.
