Investment Week 23 by StartupStarter and in partnership with Re:imagine LA will take place October 18-22 at Future Factory LA.
The star studded line up for this one of a kind investment festival includes Baron Davis, Zion Clark, Peter Slattery Maxwell, Alex Grey, Boxabl, Techstars and Hip Hop Hall of Fame giants to name a few. It will celebrate the best in innovation, investments, technology and culture.
Off site events start as early as Wednesday Oct. 18 with an investor & celebrity golf tournament co-hosted by Baron Davis. Investment Week 23 culminates with a 3 day, multi-stage conference at Future Factory LA, bringing a refreshing cross-cultural approach to technology conferences.
Daytime programming ranges from sessions covering subjects like AI, Web3, real estate, startups and the public markets to panels with UFOlogist Peter Maxwell Slattery and a curated five course dinner with renowned psychedelic artist Alex Grey. As the night falls attendees can choose between off site dinners, experiences and a full scope 3-stage party with live art at Future Factory featuring some of the best electronic music artists in the game.
During the conference, investors taking the stage include billionaire blockchain investor Michael Terpin and Marlon Nichols, as well as the VCs behind companies like Pipe, Blavity and Macro (which was named one of Fast Company’s 10 Most Innovative Companies in Hollywood.)
The star-studded line up also includes athletes like Baron Davis and Zion Clark who will take the stage in a Forbes Council panel moderated by Shaq’s agent Leonard Armato. Other panelists include Romeo Lacoste, the 30-year-old digital star who is the de facto tattooist to the world’s biggest YouTubers and talent (think ink for Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Kendrick Lamar.) In addition, executives from Disney, NBC Universal, and Toonstar (the Web3 animation studio that recently made news for partnering with Mila Kunis to launch a Solana-based series) will be in participation.
Other high profile speakers and companies include NASA, Gemini, Techstars, and Snapchat’s former Chief Strategy Officer, Imran Khan, who led the company through its IPO and also led the IPO for Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba. As well as founders of iconic companies such as: the Hip Hop Hall of Fame; Aptera, the “TED meets Burning Man” conference Summit; and Boxabl, the company aiming to solve the affordable housing crisis armed with over $168 million in funding and famous for creating the tiny home Elon Musk lives in.
For investors looking for new ventures, the event features exhibiting companies such as a revolutionary RV startup capable of charging a Tesla while driving and a pitch competition, the StartupStarter Open, done in partnership with Tim Draper’s “Meet the Drapers” series.
“Investment Week 23 is a space where culture and innovation collide, sparking not just conversations but real, tangible progress. We believe in the power of bringing diverse minds together, and this event is a testament to that belief,” says Jose Barrera, CEO of StartupStarter.
