Candiace Dillard Bassett‘s husband, Chris Bassett, is being accused of having an affair.
Ahead of next month’s premiere of the eighth season of the Real Housewives of Potomac, a woman named Ayanna Williams has come forward, claiming that Chris has been cheating on Candiace, 36, and suggesting that after she conceived a child with him, he forced her to have an abortion.
In a first post from Tasha, she revealed that Ayanna sent her the alleged paperwork for her abortion as well as nude images of Chris.
“Just in on my desk! [RHOP‘s Candiace Dillard’s husband Chris Bassett] alleged mistress of [six] months just sent me nude photos of what appears to be [Candice Dillard]’s husband and abortion paperwork for the mistress!” Tasha wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 11. “According to the mistress the abortion was had weeks ago! We are rolling out the recording with me [and] the mistress tonight at 7:30 pm EST on http://TashaKLive.com | The alleged mistress is heartbroken and was under the influence when we spoke for hours today via FaceTime and Instagram!”
“According to [Ayanna Williams] she is the alleged mistress to [Candiace Dillard]’s husband,” Unwine host Tasha K announced to her Instagram followers on October 11, tagging Ayanna’s Instagram account, which has just one post.
“FYI- she claims that she is high on weed only in this video,” Tasha continued.
In the video shared by Tasha, Ayanna revealed her alleged romance with Chris began after she sent him a winky face emoji and added that they are “still messaging” one another.
Ayanna also said Chris told her he loved her after she got the rumored abortion.
Although Ayanna said she had the paperwork to prove she had the abortion, she wouldn’t put it in the chat initially, saying, “I can’t.”
“I’m pregnant by Candiace’s husband. That’s a whole other story. You know what I’m trying to say?” she asked, noting that the abortion happened “12 weeks ago.”
“If I had that baby, it would’ve been a whole situation. Like, how could I?” she asked. “He told me, ‘If you have this baby, she can’t be on the show, it would be a whole situation. You gotta get rid of it.’ And I listened to him. Because I didn’t have time.”
Continuing on, Ayanna took aim at Chris’ marriage to Candiace.
“Let it be known: He doesn’t love her. This is a f*cking facade. Let’s be f*cking for real. Real Housewife? All y’all do is lie about your storyline .. You told me [to have] an abortion but yet you’re still with her?” she wondered.
While Ayanna isn’t happy that Chris did not leave Candiace for her, she described him as a “good dude.”
“I’ll never take that away from him but he’s with a f*cking horrible woman and he’s trying to f*cking please her because she wants to have a storyline and she wants to be on this show,” she elaborated. “Am I not good enough? Be with me.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac season eight premieres on Sunday, November 5, at 8/7c on Bravo.
