Monica Garcia threatened to sue Angie Katsanevas following her alleged trip to the ER after falling down Angie’s basement stairs – which purportedly didn’t have a railing – during her recent Easter party that was filmed on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Monica also shared gruesome photos of the alleged injury.
The newbie (who asserted on the show that Meredith Marks repeated a rumor that Angie’s husband was cheating) also claimed her on-screen argument with Angie did not occur while the castmates’ children were present, despite what the edit suggested. In response, Angie challenged her claims and accused her of accidentally almost hitting her niece with a shoe when Monica threw it at the party.
On Twitter, Monica addressed the backlash for seemingly fighting with Angie in front of the kids.
“I MADE SURE my girls were not there for that situation. That didn’t not happen in front of my kids. Go through the stills,” she wrote, after explaining that “ALL of the children were downstairs doing Easter festivities during that entire interaction.”
Afterward, Angie clapped back in a post shared by @byewighellodrama on Instagram, suggested she was lying and added, “Don’t forget you almost hit my two year old niece in the head with your shoe when you threw it. And STFU with your lies about Shawn.”

Monica later responded, “Almost hit your niece??? You are the biggest freaking a**hole. You know damn well what happened. I left your house with bumps, bloody, and bruised!!! I should sue your a** for not having your home to code you f**k!”

The newbie then shared photos of the lacerations and bruises after the alleged injury. According to Monica, she fell down the stairs at Angie’s house because it “had no railing,” and the only reason she left her mom in the episode was to go “straight to the hospital … My convo with [my mom] on the couch was after the fall.”

Monica also claimed that she sustained head injuries from the fall, and she had to get a “cat scan.”
“Angie… you are a LIAR!!!” she wrote. “Just like you lied about meeting me once. You and I BOTH KNOW the kids were in your basement you sick POS!! Go get your house up to code and I’m sending you my ER bill after falling down your basement stairs because you didn’t have a railing!”
“YOU ARE SICK,” she added.
Angie also responded to a @BravoWWHL post, shared by @allabouttrh, about how Monica “clarified” where she learned of the affair rumor. On the recent interview, Monica suggested she’s heard this for years – not from Meredith but other friends.
“Clarified???” asked Angie. “Let’s start by clarifying your real name. And then we can start chipping away at these other lies.”
Lisa seemed to echo Angie’s request. “Come clean with everything start with your last name,” she tweeted.
