Dorit Kemsley’s husband PK reportedly owes almost $1 million to the IRS and the state of California over unpaid taxes.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple has faced financial difficulties for several years now, though they rarely seem to discuss these issues on the show – which presents each cast member’s seemingly elegant lifestyle.
According to a report from The U.S. Sun, PK owes $986,887 in unpaid taxes to the Internal Revenue Service and the state of California.
The outlet says Dorit herself still owes $90,000, even though she paid off a great sum of debt earlier in 2023 after PK paid off $2.27 million to the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas.
The U.S. Sun also obtained court docs showing that Dorit paid off an IRS tax lien that totaled $635,887 for her 2015 taxes with PK.
She was cleared of her debt after a March 16, 2023 certificate of release was filed for her federal lien, though she reportedly has not paid off her tax debt from 2017 and 2018.

According to a tax lien filed in June 2021, Dorit owes an additional $90,269 to the IRS. This amount is small, however, in comparison to PK’s alleged debt.
Court docs show that PK has not paid off $986,887. He reportedly owes $58,458 to the IRS for his 2016 taxes and $230,965 for his 2014 taxes. Additionally, the husband owes $293,222 to the state of California for his 2014-2015 taxes and $404,242 for his 2016 taxes.
In 2019, PK and Dorit bought a house in Encino for $6.5 million. The mansion contains 10 bathrooms and six bedrooms, and it is almost 9,000 square feet.
The couple sold their previous home for $7.2 million after Dorit was robbed at gunpoint.
During the season 13 trailer, Dorit opened up about her PTSD following the home invasion. “You don’t understand the severity of the PTSD,” she told PK.
Her husband responded, “There are elements I understand. There are also elements I consider more obnoxious.”
