HANDSOME GIRL AND SHELTERED GIRL: THE COMPLETE MANGA COLLECTION (September 2024)

Yuri/Girls’ Love fans rejoiced as the long-awaited license for Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl, by mocchi-au-lait and majoccoid, has finally arrived. This fan-favorite manga series follows a lighthearted case of mistaken identity between Okuma Satomi and her classmate crush, Kanda Mizuki, as they work together in her friend’s “crossdressing cafe” event. Mizuki agrees, but only on the condition that Satomi agrees to go out on a date. Given shocking condition from the handsome Mizuki, Satomi doesn’t hesitate to agree. As they get to know each other, Satomi begins to realize something crucial: Mizuki is actually a girl!

Next up from Seven Seas is the Boys’ Love romance manga series, After School Etude by Hirune Cyan, about unlikely dance partners who become the perfect pair. After School Etude follows Minobe Chihiro as he enrolls in a private arts academy to study ballet, and end up being paired with the surly second-year student, Ichinomiya Shun. Chihiro quickly falls in love with Shun and his amazing dance sense, but Shun’s sour attitude leaves much to be desired. For Shun though, he’d like to be paired with Chihiro in more ways than just dance, as he is head over heels for Chihiro too!

Next up from Seven Seas was the announcement of Love is an Illusion! – The Queen, by Fargo, a Mature-rated spinoff to the BL omegaverse webtoon – Love Is an Illusion that’s available in print from Seven Seas and online on Lezhin.
Seven Seas describes the series as follows:

To wrap up the V-Day event, Seven Seas announced both the light novel and manga licenses for the award-winning romcom series, Too Many Losing Heroines! by Takibi Amamori, Imigimuru, and Itachi. Too Many Losing Heroines! follows the plain and boring Nukumizu Kazuhiko witness a bizarre event in his school: the beautiful and popular Yanami Anna get completely friend-zoned by her childhood friend and crush! To make things even more bizarre, all the other popular girls in school begin getting rejected too! Without even realizing it, Kazuhiko is dragged into this whirlwind of relationship drama and somehow its up to him to help them find love and happiness.
