Richard Gere has made a rare red carpet appearance with his wife Alejandra Silva.
The Hollywood legend, 74, enjoyed a date night out in New York City with his wife, 41, of six years for the City Harvest Gala 2024.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, were the picture of glamour for the evening as they posed together on the red carpet outside the event.

Alejandra stunned in a floor-length black gown with spaghetti straps for the occasion.
The Spanish publicist’s look featured a sheer skirt and some statement silver jewellery while she kept her glam natural.
Meanwhile her husband Ri, who is 33-years older, opted for a timeless suit and button down shirt for the night.
In other photos from the event, the pair posed with some other famous faces including singer John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen.

Later in the evening, the Geres were pictured inside the event sitting at their table.
The Pretty Woman star sat closely next to his wife in one picture as they were all smiles for the camera.
Gere and his wife first met decades before they started dating when Silva was younger since they were longtime family friends.

Bond star celebrates huge marriage milestone with wife
According to The Sun, they later reconnected in 2014 at a hotel Silva was managing in Positano, Italy, going on to tie the knot four years later.
The couple, who got married in 2018, share two sons, four-year-old Alexander who they welcomed in 2019 and another son, who they have chosen not to name, in 2020.
Silva is also mother to her 10-year-old son from a previous marriage, while Gere welcomed son Homer in 2000 with his second wife, Carey Lowell.

In May 2023, Silva posted a sweet message to celebrate her five-year anniversary with Gere after they said ‘I do’.
“For many more years.. happy anniversary my love. ♥️” she captioned the snap of the pair on a beach.
Silver occasionally posts photos of her husband and their young family to Instagram, including sharing an update following Gere’s pneumonia hospitalisation in 2023.
“I woke up this morning and I saw the news and all your kind and worry messages, he is recovering ❤️? he is felling much better today!” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair with their son.
“The worst has already pass!” she confirmed. “Thank you all for you sweet messages we really appreciate them!
