Jennifer Lopez has delivered the disappointing news to fans that she will not be going ahead with her North American tour just weeks before it was to kick off.
The star’s tour, titled “This Is Me … Live” was due to begin later this month on June 26, but fans were notified via her email newsletter On the JLo.
In a “special message to my JLovers”, the star wrote, ”I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.

“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time …”
It was accompanied by a statement from representatives of entertainment company Live Nation to media saying, “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
The shock news comes amid continuous rumours that her marriage with actor Ben Affleck is deteriorating.

The Maid in Manhattan actress was forced to confront the rumours head-on recently after a journalist questioned her about it at a press conference.
The54-year-old star was asked point blank by a journalist in a press conference earlier this week if the rumours were true.
Lopez and her co-star Simu Liu were in Mexico to promote Atlas, when a journalist asked her, “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumours?… What is the truth? [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?”

Liu immediately jumped to Lopez’s defence, telling the media, “OK we’re not doing that… C’mon, don’t come in with that energy, please.”
”You know better than that,” Lopez simply replied after laughing off the question.
Lopez wed Affleck in 2022 after rekindling their relationship from the early 2000s, having walked away from each other just four days ahead of their planned 2003 wedding.
Lopez shares her two children, 15-year-old twins Emme Maribel and Max Muñiz, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
