Sexyy Red has shut down rumors of her involvement in an airport brawl after security footage of the incident went viral with her name attached to it.
Earlier this week, a video of several people getting into a violent scuffle at Newark Airport in New Jersey surfaced online. According to TMZ, one of the people arrested for the incident was the “Pound Town” hitmaker.
On Tuesday (June 11), she took to her Instagram Stories to refute the report by sharing an image of herself holding up a middle finger soundtracked by her song “TTG (Go).”
Over the selfie, she stamped the words: “DAT WASNT DF ME.”
Despite her recent message, Sexyy seemed to admit to a role in the immediate aftermath of the fight, tweeting: “To the people that was in that altercation at the airport please dm me so I can replace yo phone!!”
HipHopDX reached out to the Port Authority Police Department to get details about the airport fight, but has not received a response as of this writing.

In similar news, Jim Jones recently dodged criminal charges after getting into a fight at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida with two other men. Last month, the Dipset rapper cleared his name after police sided with his version of events.
Per the police report, he claimed the incident traced back to when he stood up to collect his luggage from the overhead compartment as his flight was landing.
He said another passenger named James Dos Santos pushed him in the chest while confronting him for gathering his belongings before the plane had come to a complete stop.
In turn, the New York City MC said he grabbed Dos Santos’ arm and warned him about his conduct, prompting the man to apologize.
The Harlem native added that another passenger on the flight named Alexander Lekht subsequently began screaming at him, which led to officers being called to the gate.
Legal documents indicate that Lekht continued harassing Jones after they departed the aircraft. Tensions then boiled over on an escalator, which is when Lekht and Dos Santos began throwing punches at the “We Fly High” hitmaker. Airport surveillance footage corroborates this account.
Still, the 47-year-old rapper refused to press charges against his attackers.
Shortly after clip began making the rounds, Jones addressed the incident on Instagram and wrote: “To all my family I am good love yal way to many calls n text to reply to God is good.”
