It’s the end of an era!
After selling out stadiums across the globe and serenading Swifties in a record-breaking three and a half hour long show, Taylor Swift has confirmed that the Eras Tour will come to an end this December.
During the tour’s 100th show held at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England on Thursday, the pop icon took a moment to acknowledge the milestone moment and revealed that her Vancouver show on December 8 will be the last of her tour.

“You know this is actually the 100th show of the tour,” she said, per a fan-filmed video.
“That blows my mind, that doesn’t feel like a real statistic to me because this has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life. This tour.”
The crowd roared in cheers and applause as Swift gushed about her experience on the tour.

“A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’,” she continued.
“The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December, like that’s it.
“And that feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us.”

Swift who has been touring the globe with her sell-out show since March last year – performing to Swifties across North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe, told fans that the show has “become [her] entire life”.
“When I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.”

As Swift has toured the globe, fans have spent hours queuing up online for tickets, making friendship bracelets, planning outfits, organising travel and accommodation all to attend one of her shows.
During her speech in Liverpool, Swift took a moment to share her gratitude for the effort.
“Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us when this tour reaches triple digits of shows,” she said.
“So thank you!”
