R.A.P. Ferreira’s is free from his domestic violence charges and he accuses his ex-girlfriend of lying about the situation.
The indie star was accused by ex-partner Chloe Stingley who claimed Ferreira “has committed multiple acts of violence against me and all of my children”.
“Rory Ferreira physically assaulted my 7 year old at his record store, Soulfolks Records, used a deadly weapon against him and also sexually assaulted me,” she wrote on a fundraising page. “We lived in Nashville for a few months and fled in November of 2023 because of fear of bodily harm and death.”
Ferreira vehemently denied the charges and has now seen the case dismissed.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Ferreira detailed that he will not be facing any charges and made a number of accusations against Singley.
“Two days ago we had court for the domestic violence order of protection mekah stingley filed against me,” he began. “I filmed this yesterday. the entire case was dismissed. the court has commanded ms. stingley to pay all of my attorney fees within 28 days or she will be arrested. She claimed to have 42 pieces of ‘material evidence’ online, that was a lie. her sole witness, her mother, did not go to court to testify, ms. stingley crowdfunded money for an attorney and did not get one.”

Ferreira detailed the outcome of the case and his anger at people who posted personal details online: “I have sole custody of my daughter. i have a restraining order against her mother. if you helped endanger my daughter and destroyed her privacy posting her name and face via this scammer’s fundraiser, take that down now.
“if you are a journalist who posted that, you need to print a retraction and an apology now. if you are a musician who used my life and some allegations with absolutely no proof to virtue signal to your audience, you disgust me. i am a real father who does everything in his power to protect and provide for his children. this is the only job i have had in my adult life and i would like to get back to it now.
He concluded by saying: “Throughout this process, my family and friends have held me down and i am the image of gratitude to them. my heart is with real victims and i pray for the sick mind that would lie about anything of this magnitude. peace.”
