DJ Tigerlily has postponed her upcoming shows after a recent heath scare.
In an emotional post to her 571,000 followers, the Australian producer, 32, shared she underwent emergency surgery after being hospitalised in Sydney.
”One minute you’re painting with your son at playgroup, and the next you’re being sent to ED for emergency surgery to take out your appendix,” the DJ wrote.

“The last few days have been a wild ride… there have been tears, some new scars, and a rollercoaster of emotions,” she continued.
The Sydney-born star – whose real name is Dara Hayes – shares son Lando, one, with her husband Scott Lawson.
In her post, the musician shared a series of candid photos from her hospital stay including a snap of her son visiting with a ‘Get better soon’ balloon and writing her a note in crayon with the same sweet words.

The DJ thanked her friends, family and colleagues who she was “incredibly grateful” for, giving a special shoutout to her mother for the support at home.
The 32-year-old praised the medical staff who cared for her at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney for making her feel “so cared for and looked after.”

“I regret to announce that my shows this weekend at Deck Bendigo and Billboard Melbourne will need to be postponed,” she then announced.
The star was scheduled to perform this Saturday September 21.

“I truly don’t take cancellations lightly, especially knowing how much effort goes into planning these events.”
“I hate to disappoint my fans, and it’s important to me that I deliver the best performance possible when I am well again,” she said.

The DJ signed off by thanking fans for their support while assuring she would be back to performing soon.
The comments section was inundated with messages wishing the star a fast recovery, including fellow musicians Joel Fletcher and DJ Brooklyn, and her sister, Hockeyroos player Greta Hayes.
The DJ recently finished up her Europe tour in July and August.
Ahead of her international tour the star opened up to 9honey Parenting about her how her life and job had changed after welcoming son Lando.
“I’ve really tried to shift my perspective on what productive means, what a good day means now,” she explained.
