There’s no breaking Samuel L. Jackson‘s concentration.

After 30 years, the Oscar-nominated star has “still got it,” reciting the iconic Ezekiel 25:17 Bible verse from memory in one of his standout scenes in a commemoration post for Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.

In the clip for the seminal crime-comedy’s 30th anniversary, Jackson is seen sitting on a couch casually reciting the passage that describes the extent of the Lord’s anger and vengeance. Nary stumbling over his words and occasionally changing his tone for dramatic effect, the veteran actor recites it in its entirety.

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee!”

“YOU KNOW I STILL GOT IT!!! EZEKIEL 25:17 🎥 HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF PULP FICTION,” he wrote on Instagram.

Pulp Fiction, about two hitmen — portrayed by Jackson and John Travolta — and how their exploits intersect with the lives of a cast of characters existing in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, stars Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken, Harvey Keitel and Ving Rhames. Considered Tarantino’s magnum opus, the flick was nominated for seven Oscars, winning for Best Original Screenplay.

In the movie, Jackson’s Jules recites the passage after he and Vincent (Travolta) arrive at an apartment to retrieve a briefcase for their crime boss Marsellus Wallace (Rhames) from business partner Brett and his friends. The scene ends with a bloody mess, as Jules rebukes Brett for his attempts to double-cross the kingpin.
