Similar to Deadpool 3, Mission Impossible 8 ne Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two needs to restart production, and that is looking unlikely with each day that passes in the SAG-AFTRA strike. The Tom Cruise sequel moves from June 28, 2024 next year to May 23, 2025 Memorial Day. The studio will have to access to Imax screens and Memorial Day is a special place as that’s where Cruise launched his biggest movie of all-time, Top Gun: Maverick to $1.49 billion WW.

IF, previously scheduled for May 24, 2024, is now May 17, 2024 (wide).
A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE, previously scheduled for March 8, 2024, is now June 28, 2024 (wide, +IMAX).
