Akademiks just got a new Maybach and he sees it as a tangible representation of the rappers whose careers he “killed.”
Taking to social media on Friday (March 22), the polarizing media personality shared a video of his latest whip while taunting artists in the background.
“Just got a new delivery,” he says in the clip. “Pandademiks is here. Stop playing man. New purchase. I needed something to celebrate violating these rappers. Killing their careers. Running the rap game in terms of media, living life, being successful. Being Big Ak. What’s the problem?”
After confirming he bought the car in cash, he added: “Anyway I’m looking for a driver. All y’all rappers that I killed y’all career, other podcasters who’s trash – come apply!”

Akademiks is certainly no stranger to beefing with rappers, having had issues with Meek Mill, Freddie Gibbs and Yung Miami in just 2024 so far alone.
Earlier this week, Meek announced that he was blocking Ak on social media as he posted a screenshot to prove he was actually going through with it.
“Okay it’s over yall I wanted to see how many days I could make a bad geek lose sleep lol I blocked him,” he wrote.
Ak caught wind of the move and posted a screenshot of his own, demonstrating that Meek did indeed stick to his word.
“No Way Meek Mill blocked Me…… I out tweeted Mr Twitter Fingers himself,” he remarked.
The move concludes (at least for now) a back-and-forth between the two that grew increasingly contentious over the past few weeks after Meek was named in Diddy’s latest sexual assault lawsuit.
As for Yung Miami, her and Akademiks’ years-old beef heated up earlier this year after the controversial media personality urged the rapper to address the sexual assault allegations against Diddy.
After Miami called him “a bitch” in one of her songs, tensions between the long-running rivals boiled over on social media in mid-January.
As for Freddie Gibbs, he and Akademiks have been going at it for years, stemming from the media personality calling the rapper “irrelevant” after Gibbs dissed his former label boss Jeezy.
Insults, threats and jokes have been lobbied back and forth ever since, with Gibbs most recently trolling Akademiks in January after he was accused of rape.
Most recently, the Gary, Indiana native takes aim at Akademiks by calling him a “pussy n-gga” and threatening violence against him if they cross paths on his verse on ScHoolboy Q‘s album cut, “oHio.”
“Smack a n-gga in his mouth for the loot/ If I ever see that pussy n-gga Akademiks I’ma catch another lawsuit,” he raps.
