Artist Alex Ross has announced more San Diego Comic-Con 2024 exclusives including the debut of a brand new art book. The artist has revealed fine art prints of iconic DC superheroes and a World’s Finest variant in collaboration with Jim Lee. Earlier this month, Ross revealed signed, con-exclusive prints of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Venom.

Joker fans will definitely want to get their hands on this brand new, black-and-white illustration by Ross created exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con 2024. This signed and numbered giclée print on fine art archival paper comes with a certificate of authenticity. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of his most iconic Superman portraits, originally created for DC Direct in 1999, you can now purchase a signed giclée print on fine art archival paper including a certificate of authenticity. Alex Ross: Unseen art book
The new art book Alex Ross: Unseen, featuring never-before-seen art from Ross’s portfolio, will debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. It features a range of art, including sketches, concept art, and complete illustrations, alongside commentary and notes from Ross himself. The book will be available at booth #2415 and online, both unsigned ($50) and signed on an interior page ($100). Join the waitlist here.
World’s Finest #29 variant cover
Ross and Lee’s World’s Finest #29 cover depicts Batman and Superman, each hovering over their respective cities, superimposed into a single image. Penciled by Lee and painted by Ross, the variant cover features not just two iconic DC superheroes, but work from two comics legends.
This SDCC-exclusive variant is available unsigned for $40, signed for $80, or in a CGC Signature Series 9.8 for $250. You can join the waitlist via Ross’s website, which will add you to the list for the extremely limited pre-order window on Tuesday, July 16 at 3 p.m. ET.
Joining the waitlist requires you to register an email and password on Ross’s website, after which you’ll get a confirmation email. The confirmation email states that you’ll receive an additional message when you’re eligible to purchase. The variant will also be available for purchase at SDCC booth #2415.
