Andrew Will NOT Face Further Police Action Over Claim That He Asked Bodyguard To Dig Up Dirt On Epstein Accuser Virginia Giuffre!

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, is getting away with allegedly trying to go after his accuser for now.

If you need a refresher, here’s the deal. After the former Duke of York willingly relinquished his royal titles in October, the Metropolitan Police Service launched an investigation into a report that he attempted to dig up dirt on Virginia Roberts Giuffre in 2011. This came right after she first dropped her bombshell allegations, saying Andrew slept with her when she was only 17 after being trafficked… and before that photo of them together. Take a look (below):

One day before the picture emerged, Andrew allegedly asked a personal police protection officer, a taxpayer-funded position, to look into Virginia. Emails published by Dailymail.com showed the disgraced royal reached out to Queen Elizabeth’s then-deputy press secretary Ed Perkins about the situation, saying:

“It would seem she has a criminal record in the States. I have given her DoB and social security number for investigation with [redacted] the on duty PPO.”

Andrew allegedly got hold of her date of birth and social security number and gave it to the officer. Hmm. Obviously, he doesn’t say why in the email. But, come on. It sounds like he was trying to find information, so he could use it to smear her name and silence her, right? What other explanation is there? Andrew went on to tell Perkins that he spoke to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell about Virginia’s claims, calling her a “liar.”

Following the report, the Metropolitan Police Service began “actively looking” into the claims. And what is the verdict months later? The cops are NOT taking further action against Andrew! What! Central Specialist Crime Commander Ella Marriott explained in a press release on Saturday that the investigation found no “additional evidence of criminal acts or misconduct.” Not only that, but MPS has not gotten any other evidence to justify reopening the case. Therefore, no more action will be taken. The statement read:

“Following recent reporting suggesting that Mr. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor asked his Met Police close protection officer to carry out checks on Ms Giuffre in 2011, the MPS has carried out a further assessment. This assessment has not revealed any additional evidence of criminal acts or misconduct. To date, we have not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the investigation. In the absence of any further information, we will be taking no further action.”

So that’s it? No further investigation into the claims? The family of Virginia, who passed away earlier this year, reacted to the shocking news on Saturday as well. Her loved ones told the BBC that they are “deeply disappointed” by the decision to drop the investigation “without explanation and without speaking to us.” They continued:

“With the Epstein files about to be released by Congress since the passage of the Epstein Transparency Act, we are surprised that the Metropolitan Police didn’t wait to see what further evidence might appear. While we have hailed the UK’s overall handling of the case of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor previously, today we feel justice has not been served.”

What a disappointing outcome for the alleged victim’s family. What are your thoughts on the decision, Perezcious readers? Tell us in the comments.
