Another Trailer for ‘Paris Has Fallen’ Action Series Featuring Ritu Arya

“Move fast, kill the bad guys.” Which is usually the best strategy. Hulu has debuted a new official trailer for the French action series called Paris Has Fallen, which is streaming in the US in December. It already launched a few months ago in France. As the trailer directly points out, this is a TV continuation of the “Has Fallen” franchise of movies – which includes Olympus Has Fallen (2013), London Has Fallen (2016), Angel Has Fallen (2019). Did we really need more of these stories as a TV series? A protection officer and an MI6 operative team up after a terrorist attack strikes Paris. They suspect a mole as they race to thwart a larger conspiracy from a madman threatening Paris. The plot follows protection officer Vincent Taleb who finds himself working with street-smart MI6 agnet Zara Taylor to save the day. Starring Tewfik Jallab, Ritu Arya, Sean Harris as the main bad guy, with Ana Ularu, Camille Rutherford, Jérémie Covillault, Emmanuelle Bercot, Karl Collins, and Nathan Willcocks, and many others. This does look somewhat entertaining, still not sure if it can really sustain all the usual excitement & momentum over many episodes.

Paris Has Fallen is a new series created and written by Howard Overman, a writer on “Vexed”, “Merlin”, “Misfits”, “Atlantis”, “Crazyhead”, “Future Man”, “The One”, “War of the Worlds” previously. With episodes directed by Hans Herbots and Oded Ruskin. Produced by Johnny Capps, Julian Murphy, Howard Overman. Exec produced by Gerard Butler, Jeffrey Greenstein, Avi Lerner, Yariv Lerner, Jonathan Yunger, Oded Ruskin, Alan Siegel. This already premiered in France a few months ago. Hulu will debut the Paris Has Fallen series streaming in the US on December 6th, 2024 coming up.
